Gear Packers are hand made in our Salem, Oregon facility with the highest quality materials for a tremendous value and investment.  We closely monitor the manufacturing and quality control to assure every customer receives a product which will last through tough use and provide continued satisfaction.  The construction of each Gear Packer bag is done “one-at-a-time” to assure it receives hands on attention.  Every Gear Packer product will withstand rough treatment and provide the satisfaction of knowing you purchased a superior product. The fabric is washable so you can maintain the appearance.  We use no off shore labor, only local, legal well paid professional sewers.  

We start with our own designs; oversee the fabric cutting, preparation and assembly of every Gear Packer to provide a high standard of quality control.  Our choice of fabric is 1000 Denier Nylon which is extremely strong. The fabric is urethane coated which makes it mildew and water resistant, plus it eliminates fraying and unraveling of the fabric.  All compartments are lined inside with 1000 Denier nylon fabric to match the exterior fabric and provides added toughness.  Each of our products is assembled with # 69 nylon and polyester thread which is very strong and will not rot or mildew.    

The zippers are heavy duty to withstand demanding treatment.  Each zipper tape end and shoulder strap attachment webbing is sewn 5 times to the end panels for security.  We double needle stitch all zippers to assure the fabric stays sewn to the zipper tape and does not separate.

Every Gear Packer end seam is sewn a minimum of 2 times for strength.  We sew on heavy weight webbing which will take the punishment of carrying heavy loads.  The full body handles are sewn completely around the bag.  All hardware is strong and dependable, designed to carry extra weight.  

Our Gear Packer Utility Bags are designed to transport a large volume of personal gear.  These are tremendous bags for camping, traveling and rugged use.  There are four sizes; Gearmongus, Large, Medium, and small. The three largest have two end  panel compartments and two side panel compartments for extra cargo capacity.  Our small Gear Packer has 2 end panel compartments.

Gear Packer Travel Bags make a great personal bag; they come in three sizes small, medium, large, and are airline friendly.  The small and medium bags make a terrific purse. The small and medium have one zippered compartment outside, while the large has two for extra carrying capacity. All three sizes have five additional pockets inside. These are really tough all around carry bags and will provide long term service.

 
We also provide a heavy duty shoulder strap with those items using a shoulder strap.  

All of our Gear Packers come in a variety of colors:

universal camo, woodland camo, desert camo, black, charcoal, navy blue, royal blue, purple, red, burgundy, and pink.   Black ballistic nylon is available on special order.  Certain colors may be subject to change.
